In all my years of being a Disney Baby, I had NEVER seen a theater as packed as when The Fox and The Hound was playing in early 83/84. Every single seat for every single showing was occupied by young families, children, older couples with older kids right up to senior citizens all wept from the time Tod's mother was shot by the Hunter up to the point where Amos Slade hunts Tod and Vixie. This is a timeless classic that will bring tears to your eyes right from the start and bring bouts of giggles during Tod and Copper's romps and tears of sadness yet again when Widow Tweed returns a confused Tod to the wilderness, heart stopping moments of horror when Amos Slade and Copper hunt Tod and Vixie to moments of relief when Copper stands infront of Tod to get his master to spare his friend's life.
